When people talk about “bright students” or “top performers,” it usually circles back to science and math. Somewhere, other subjects, including humanities, get brushed aside. But if you’ve ever wondered why societies work the way they do, it requires deeper conversation. At Sristi Global School, we take studies very seriously and believe in the holistic development of each student. If some students want to excel in humanities, why not? Thus, we’re not just offering humanities as a subject group, but we also build it into a launchpad for students who want to explore, think differently, and actually apply what they’re learning.
At Sristi, the humanities classroom doesn’t run on textbook recaps and board exam drilling. We believe in honest interactions with students and create interest in them about humanities, so that they can ask questions, build arguments, and look at perspectives.
Discussions around history or political science often go off-script, and moreover, literature isn’t just about themes and metaphors—it’s actually about how a piece of writing feels or matters. We explore emotions, motivation, and how people actually behave in the real world.
One thing we never want is for students to ask: “Why am I learning this?” So we connect the dots early.
At Sristi Global School, students get chances to:
We encourage our students to accept their love for humanities with open arms and embrace it for a lifetime. After all, you can become anything with humanities as your stream of education, and all students should know that there is a world beyond engineering, medical, mathematics, and science—especially when they are least interested in these subjects.
We support students in developing proper research, structured writing, and presentation skills.
Because not every bright mind fits inside a lab or wants to code. Some kids want to ask bigger questions. Some want to write. Some want to create. Some want to understand the world before trying to fix it. At Sristi, we make space for all that. We don’t hand students a “stream”—we hand them a way to engage with the world.
